Winter FINALLY Leaves Us Alone!!!

Or does it...?


With all the turbulent weather patterns we have seen in recent years, we never really do know what to expect, in truth!  Still, some constants remain - for instance, generally speaking, March 21st is supposed to herald the coming of Spring indeed.  And when that date does arrive, we can expect the fairer season to blow in on our dreary routine, in full swing - or reluctantly, as the case may be in your area as you read this...!   Anyhow...  SPRING IS HERE - whether it shows or not!  And how best to welcome it then with... a poem!  Aye - let us have it now...

Rejoice And Awaken Again, 

Dearly Beloved Brethren

For Spring Is Coming 

And Winter Has To Go!

As surely as the old year 

gives way to the new - 

as surely as the storm passes 

and gives way to hope anew!

As surely as darkness recedes

And Light succeeds! 

Winter withers 

Spring takes over, 

warming hearts and souls 

'til the petulant summer

peppers everyone's days 

overheating passions

sending some astray...! 

And then their big brother Autumn 

will wisely be taking over -

And there will soon start again 

the cycle that never ends! 

At least for those of us who are stuck 

with the capricious whims 

of not one, not two, 

but four seasons indeed! 

Sometimes I wish I was where it is ALWAYS cold - at least, I'd know not to hope for something else and be disappointed on a regular basis, you know...!

But we are digressing here....!

And enough talking about the weather already, also: isn't there plenty more to talk about than the weather?!?  Life is about so much more than merely THAT...

And yet, and yet...

'Tis so very true that the weather affects our moods, each and every last one of our days, our entire lives therefore...
